I am sick of making the same recipes over and over again, so I decided to start a recipe blog. I originally started this hoping others would email me great recipes! But now I have it so I can come up with a menu each week. Planning ahead helps me so that I don't need to think about what to make each night! Plus now I have a great database to search when I am planning what to make :)Especially since I am allergic to milk. So besides the dairy labeled recipes all these recipes are dairy free!

Red, White and Blue smoothies and freezer pops


To start, add some strawberries and a little water to your blender.  Blend until smooth. Pour into a glass and give blender a little rinse.  Next add 1-2 frozen bananas, a spoonful (or 2)  of Greek yogurt, and a little bit of milk. Blend, and pour that into a glass, rinse blender. Last blend a handful or two of blueberries and just a tad of water.  Pour on top of the banana mixture.  If your mixtures are too thin, add a few ice cubes to thicken it up.  Layer red, white and than blue.  You can even make them as a smoothie!
